當鋼琴腐朽，能為世界留下什麼？

美國布朗大學的學生Haruta去年(2023)，將一台退役的Baldwin鋼琴，放置在校園的森林一處，讓它暴露於自然環境，同時鼓勵大家與鋼琴互動。

Haruta 想透過實驗了解：鋼琴是怎麼隨著時間一點點「老去」，又是在什麼時候被認為「沒音樂價值」了。為尋找答案，她細心記錄這架鋼琴逐漸退化的樣子，還收集了學生及民眾們在使用這台鋼琴時的想法、反應和創意表現。

在風雨和人為接觸的作用下，這架鋼琴逐漸發生物理變化，隨著表面剝落、聲音越發憔悴，引導人們反思：我們該如何賦予「廢棄物件」價值與意義。​

這台鋼琴的腐朽仍在進行式，它靜靜地站在布朗大學的音樂院附近…
