倫敦鋼琴技師Desmond Gentle，工作時遇到一位即將搬去Zanskar的老師，兩人在閒聊中得知村莊中的學校非常偏遠且沒有任何鋼琴；Desmond Gentle正在尋找退休前的最後冒險，立刻承諾百折不撓為村子提供一架鋼琴，當然過程….

《Piano to Zanskar》是一部述說了65歲的Desmond Gentle與兩名年輕徒弟將鋼琴運送至Zanskar的電影紀錄片；身處令人嘆為觀止的自然景色，即使路途再艱苦，歡笑聲仍未曾停止。
