✨900年首次:聖保羅大教堂「男女混聲唱詩班」亮相聖誕禮拜

英國聖保羅大教堂唱詩班，在2022年7月打破900年傳統，首度招募兩位女性成員 —11歲的Lila與10歲的Lois。經過兩年的訓練準備，她們於2024年6月正式加入唱詩班，並在今年聖誕禮拜亮相，與其他唱詩班成員一同獻唱。

雖然這次演出象徵突破傳統，然而值得注意的是，英國教堂音樂的性別變革並非始於聖保羅。在此之前，英國的索爾茲伯里大教堂和萊斯特大教堂早已設立女性唱詩班，為女性參與教堂音樂開創先河。
